2. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels) help a site remember your settings, keep you signed in, measure usage and—where enabled—personalise content or ads.
3. How we use them
We use cookies in these categories:
- Strictly Necessary – required for the site to work (e.g., security, load balancing, session, preferences needed to deliver a service you request);
- Analytics – to understand visits and improve the site (aggregated reports; no attempt to identify you);
- Functional – to remember non-essential preferences (e.g., media settings, your progress on the e-learning platform, etc.).
Some essential activities (e.g., authentication, saving form entries, security, streaming) are “reasonable activities” that typically rely on necessary cookies.
4. Your choices
- Cookie Settings: You can change or withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings page (always accessible via the Cookie Settings link in the footer);
- Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break site features.
Under Singapore’s PDPA, consent for cookies that collect and use personal data is required; consent may sometimes be reflected by browser settings, but simply doing nothing does not equal consent. As good practice, we provide on-site cookie preferences.
5. Third parties and overseas transfers
