Bookings, refunds and cancellations

1. Scope
This policy applies to all activities offered by Tango TouchTM in Singapore: weekly classes, practice labs, workshops and intensives, private coaching, and seminars on tango history, music and tango DJing. It covers how to book, change, or cancel, and when refunds or credits are available.
2. Booking channels and confirmation
- You may book through our website, our official booking partner(s), or by written confirmation on email at booking@tangotouch.sg or WhatsApp at +65 8078 1093;
- A booking is confirmed when you receive an email or screen receipt. Please check your details and let us know within 24 hours if anything is incorrect.
3. Prices and payments
- Prices are in Singapore dollars – unless specified otherwise – and include prevailing taxes where applicable;
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout;
- If a payment provider does not return its processing fee on refunds, the refund will be made net of any unrecoverable processing fees.
4. Attendance, lateness, and class capacity
- Please arrive a few minutes early. Entry may be refused if you are more than 10 minutes late, for safety and flow;
- We cap class sizes for quality and safety. Book early to secure a place;
- Partner rotation may be used at the instructor’s discretion.
5. Changing or cancelling a booking (by you)
A) Weekly Courses (regular weekly classes)
- Reschedule or cancel up to 6 hours before the start time to keep the credit for a future date within the same term;
- Inside 6 hours or no-show counts as used and is not refundable.
B) Practice Labs
- Same policy as Weekly Courses unless the listing states otherwise.
C) Workshops and Intensives
- 7 or more days before the start: full refund or credit;
- 72 hours to 6 days: 50 percent refund or full credit;
- Less than 72 hours: no refund, but you may transfer your seat to another person by emailing us at least 12 hours before the start.
D) Seminars (history and music)
- 7 or more days before: full refund or credit;
- Within 7 days: no refund, but you may transfer your seat up to 12 hours before the start.
E) Private coaching
- 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel without charge;
- Inside 24 hours or no-show: full fee is payable.
Medical and exceptional circumstances
If you are unwell or face an emergency, email info@tangotouch.sg before the session. At our discretion we may issue a time-limited credit on receipt of reasonable evidence.
6. No-shows
If you do not attend and did not cancel within the stated window, the booking is treated as used and is not refundable.
7. Changes or cancellations (by Tango TouchTM)
- If we change an instructor, venue, or timetable, your booking remains valid;
- If we cancel a session, you may choose a new date, a credit, or a full refund to the original payment method (with the exception of subscriptions, for which only credit is available);
- Some activities have a minimum enrolment. If not met, we will notify you and offer the options above.
8. Subscriptions and passes: terms, and validity
- Multi-class passes are valid for 24 weeks from purchase unless stated otherwise;
- Expired credits and passes cannot be used. You may request a one-time freeze for up to 6 weeks for travel or medical reasons by emailing booking@tangotouch.sg before the expiry date;
- Subscriptions and passes are not transferable unless the product page / pass / subscription clearly says otherwise.
9. Gift cards and promo codes
- Gift cards are non-refundable and valid until the stated expiry;
- Promo codes are single use and have no cash value.
10. Events held at partner venues
For events at partner venues, venue-specific rules may apply. If a venue cancels or becomes unavailable, we will relocate or refund as set out in section 7.
11. Refund method and timeline
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Your bank or card issuer controls the final posting time;
- If a payment provider does not return its processing fee, the amount refunded will be net of any unrecoverable fees.
Non-returnable items
- Partially used passes and subscriptions;
- Gift cards and vouchers;
- Downloadable products;
- Expired credits and passes: credits and passes are valid until their expiry date and are non-refundable once expired;
- Late (6 hours) cancellations and no-shows;
- Date-specific tickets (one-off workshops, intensives, seminars, guest masterclasses): tickets for date-specific events are non-refundable inside the stated window. You may transfer your seat to another person by notifying us before the session start;
- Merchandise that is opened, used, or not in resale condition;
- Misconduct or breach of studio policies: if access is withdrawn due to safety or conduct reasons, unused portions are not refundable;
- Force majeure interruptions: if a session cannot proceed due to events beyond our control, we will offer a new date or credit. Cash refunds may not be available.
12. Behaviour and safety
All participants must follow our studio policies and the instructions of the teaching team. We may refuse entry or remove a participant for safety or conduct reasons. See our Safety and liability Waiver for in-person activities.
13. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects rights that cannot be excluded under Singapore law. If you believe a service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, contact us and we will review your case.
14. How to request a change, refund, or credit
Email booking@tangotouch.sg with your name, booking reference, and request. For data protection matters, contact dpo@tangotouch.sg.
15. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version applies from the date shown at the top and bottom of the page.
